The candidates are encouraged to spend their time at a non-academic partner organisation during the last 18 months of the research project, lasting a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months. Candidates will be able to freely select the international partner organisation they want to stay in and afterwards they will need to find a supervisor belonging to that organisation. This supervisor can be chosen at the Outgoing Phase from the options provided by the Athenea3i Partnership or from the candidate’s own contacts or following their interests. Remember that all candidates must provide a Letter of Commitment from the supervisor of the partner organisation for the application process.
